Enterprise Grouping as a route to prosperity!

An Enterprise Grouping is a collection of businesses and entrepreneurs working together to make money.  This is done by extracting benefit from the use of new knowledge and technology produced by research and development projects which are funded by the European Commission.  In particular we are interested in the challenge of finding new commercial opportunities based on the intellectual property created by some of these projects.

Your use of this valuable research is reliant on a simple three stage process:

Stage 1.          Idea creation.  This is where we send you information about new technology and products from our projects and you translate them into new ideas.

Stage 2.          Idea acceptance and realisation.  Your idea is accepted by us and we act together to bring the research and concept together in order to realise its benefits.

Stage 3.          Product inception and profitable trading.  Your idea has been translated into an actual product or service and goes to market for your benefit.

You could become a potential “market leader” or just gain exciting commercial benefit with a new product, new technology or new understanding for your business.  The EG really does put high value, cutting edge ideas and technology into the hands of those best qualified to make money from it. 

In considering whether to join an EG one obvious question is ‘What will it cost me?’.  The answer is ‘Very little or nothing’.  Members are expected to contribute their time in return for the benefits that they themselves perceive and there is a budget available to cover cost of travel and subsistence for the EG members if it is required.
